Yoshida Hatsusaburo (1884-1955) was a bird's eye view map artist from Kyoto. Former kimono painter turned to graphic designer when he was 25 years old. He was introduced as a "Mr. Yoshida Hatsusaburo a well-known landscape painter of today's Japan, known as the Hiroshige of present age" in English pamphlet.
